What Humidity does to Hair?
Humidity make our hair extra-puffy. A lot of girls suffer hair fall, roughness and dullness in hair in summers, but don't know the real reason. This actually happens when humidity in air increases. When the hair encounters moisture in the air, it relaxes the salt and hydrogen bonds, allowing the moisture to penetrate to the cortex. The two protein layers, within the cortex, absorb the water and swell. This creates extra volume in hair which we term as puffiness. This makes Hair unmanageable and hence cause breakage (that results into roughness) and hair fall.
Solutions
There are many ways to avoid this but the method I use gives the best results. So here is what you need to have.
Gooseberry oil (Amla)/Mustard oil
5-6 spoons of Yogurt
Method
A lot people mix oil in yogurt and apply on their hair but I have tested it doesn't give the right results, For best results apply gooseberry oil in your scalp using the tips of your fingers. When you are done, let the oil settle in your skin for half an hour at least.
When the oil is settled then apply yogurt to the scalp by the same way using finger tips. Let the mixture stay on your hair for at least one and half hour then wash your hair with a good shampoo that removes all grease.
You can do this thrice a week. and after one week routine you will feel your hair smooth, silky and full of life from roots to tips.
Along with this you need to keep your hair clean, prevent hair from becoming oily, wash them daily with shampoos designed for anti-frizz.
I hope you like it :)
